Fees and Aids

Tuition and Cost of Attendance, Financial Aids

College tuition and other cost seem to be a lot, but it could be less than you think for Sophia.
We also have financial aids for those who need help.

Tuition and Cost of Attendance

The exact amount of the fees for academic year 2018 will be decided in July 2017.

For your reference, the tuition fee for the academic year 2017 is 31,700 yen per credit.
After course registration, a bill is sent to each student. Assuming a student takes 16 credits for a semester, tuition is 507,200 yen (31,700 yen x 16). A total of 124 credits are required for graduation.

The following expenses will be included in the tuition bill.
Each semester: Semester Enrollment Fee, Tuition Fee, Education Enhancement Fee

Tuition Fee (assuming 31 credits: 31 x 31,700) * 982,700

Financial Aids

Various types of scholarships and financial aid are available. There are some scholarships that the applicants can apply for at the time of admission application.
