
Admission and Registration Information
How to Apply:
The application process is divided into two parts, online application and the submission of materials
by postal mail.
1) Submit the following documents by postal mail to Sophia University's Session office:
① Two photographs (4x3 cm, color).
② An official transcript from the applicant's home institution (if it is not possible to obtain an official transcript (e.g. in the case of freshmen) a certification of student registration is acceptable.
The minimum GPA (cumulative GPA) requirement for acceptance to the Summer Session is 2.75 (out of 4) or equivalent grades. ---> 2.75/4
③ English test scores (for students not enrolled in educational institutions with English as the main
language of instruction).
The minimum scores for acceptance to the summer session are as follows:
TOEFL/PBT: 550; TOEFL/iBT: 79; IELTS: 6.0
④ The application form for Sophia Soshigaya International House (for students choosing Soshigaya International House as their preferred accommodation).

Payment of tuition is only accepted by credit card.
