The scope of the application of the Guidelines

The scope of the application of the Guidelines

Applicable persons

Harassments committed or experienced by all members of the faculty, staff, and students as follows: Full-time and part-time faculty and staff, regardless of employment type, all students with academic or research status of Sophia University, Sophia Junior College, Sophia School of Social Welfare, exchange students, non-matriculated students, auditors, students of Sophia University and Sophia Junior College Community College, members of attached institutes and centers, visiting lecturers, visiting researchers, joint researchers, special researchers, exchange professors, and so on.

Applicable scope

The Guidelines will be applied to occurrences of harassment in any way related to the Corporation, regardless of the place or the time it happened, for example, on or off campus, during classroom hours or club activities, or during working hours.

For situations when harassment is committed by any person outside the Corporation, efforts will be made to take appropriate measures.
