The Faculty of Law has three departments: that of Law, that of International Legal Studies and that of Legal Studies of the Global Environment. All three require the students to understand the basic concepts of law. Each department has a distinct target: domestic society, international society and the global environment.
Law regulates human social activity. It is continually revised to meet the needs of widening economic and social activity in this age of rapidly expanding information and telecommuni-cation technology.
The study of law is not simply the memorization of facts. The student must acquire the skills to solve whatever new problems arise. The Faculty of Law aims to produce people able to use legal knowledge in solving people's problems. Consequently, the courses include sociology, economics and politics as well as the understanding of legal phenomena.

 
Department of Law
 
The purpose of the Department of Law is for students to gain the power to legally and systematically express and resolve social issues that their parents once confronted". Modern society is extremely complex and intertwined. Therefore, it is vital that personal values do not bias the understanding of various problems in society.
It is important to sufficiently balance opposing advantages and suggestions to resolve problems ideologically.
So advanced intellect, sensitivity, and ethics and in some cases physical endurance are involved in this process. Learning law is not simply blind memorization of legislation. The true goal is to acquire problem-solving skills.

 
Department of International Legal Studies
 
The goal of the Department of International Legal Studies is to help students learn the basic and correct qualities of legal studies. The course is designed to teach students law and politics in depth with a special emphasis on how they work in international relations. Students will also acquire foreign language skills and analytical skills. The curriculum covers a wide range of issues that are considered to be important for professionals working in international relations. Understanding of law and politics is indispensable in coping with any unexpected challenges in the international community in the future.
 
Department of Legal Studies of the Global Environment
 
In the Department of Legal Studies of the Global Environment, the focus is on legal aspects of global environmental problems to create a society of sustainable development. The goal of the course is to nurture human resources with the potential and power to resolve environmental problems from a legal aspect. The global environment is currently in a crisis situation. It is vital that we sustain and protect the global environment. Enterprises are also required to alleviate and prevent any risk, to the environment. To resolve these problems, there is a need to understand the basic legal dynamics. The next indispensable aspect is to acquire a deep legal understanding of environmental issues. The Department of Legal Studies of the Global Environment provides a lineup of diverse subjects in this area through a small class approach. It is also the intention of the Department to accept students from the developing countries in the hope of contributing to the world by protecting the global environment.
